I wanted this to be heaps better than it is but I moved on to the next part to early each time and ended up with a less than perfect copy of the original. Check it out though, I’ll probably record it again later this year with better vocals, real cello and better production.

Its been forever since I’ve done a cover of a song and I’ve been singing the chorus of this song in my head for weeks now and it pretty much sums up perfectly how I feel no matter what town I am in.

Started writing a song last night. Tried improvising the missing parts so that I wouldn’t forget what I already had but was interupted by a phone call mid song. here is the result.

This is a track I wrote a couple of weeks ago while watch Nims Island on tv. Completely different to my usual stuff but I think you might like it. Make sure you give it a listen and let me know what you think.
For one of my classes I needed to write a song where the chords are the same in the verse as the chorus. The aim is for us to demonstrate ways of making the chorus bigger without changing the chords. Here is what I came up with today. The “Rudy” character in the song is from a book I am currently reading called “the book thief”.

Playing around with some amp sims and a artic-monkeys like chord progression. No vocals but its pretty neat. I might get back into playing in bands. maybe.
